BRAINS is the acronym for MoBility for Research and African Integration through Health Sciences.
The overall objective is to enhance human capital development in Africa, while strengthening intra-African collaboration as called for by Agenda 2063. The program aims to increase the employability of students, improve the quality of higher education in Africa and its relevance to our development agenda, and to strengthen, modernize and internationalize African higher education institutions.

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), in the context of managing the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, collects and processes the personal data of some of the candidates.
